Test Event – Green Room: Major Groups and Stakeholders morning meeting
Food systems are a major contributor to the triple planetary crisis, driving a third of global greenhouse gas emissions and the main threat to 86% of species under risk of extinction. Simultaneously, these systems are highly vulnerable to the accelerating climate crisis, environmental shocks and stresses, which severely undermine food security and adaptation efforts. Breaking this harmful feedback loop requires an urgent focus on building resilience to ensure the long-term sustainability of both our food and eco-systems.
