The Secretariat of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) is accepting proposals for a consultant with requisite experience to assess ISA’s eligibility for Official Development Assistance (ODA) contributions, and to support ISA’s preparation for the evaluation process by the members of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Applicants should have an advanced degree (Master’s or above) in the field of international development, economics, sustainable development, or other related fields and Experience working with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The successful consultant will be requested to:
- Assess the eligibility of ISA as a recipient of ODA contributions
- Support ISA’s preparation for the evaluation process for its ODA-eligibility by the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of OECD; and
- Develop a rationale for ISA as a key ODA-eligible organization in support of sustainable ocean economy through multilateral governance.
