Today, 16 November 2019, marks the 25th anniversary of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) and the entry into force of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). Beijing Pioneer Hi-Tech Development Corporation and ISA sign exploration contract for polymetallic nodules in the western Pacific Ocean
The Beijing Pioneer Hi-Tech Development Corporation and the International Seabed Authority (ISA) have signed a 15-year contract for the exploration of polymetallic nodules in the international deep seabed area.
