The Secretariat of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) is accepting proposals for consultancy services as a Project Manager to support the implementation of ISA’s Sustainable Seabed Knowledge Initiative (SSKI) and related activities under the scope of ISA action plan for marine scientific research in support of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Applicants should have the requisite experience and expertise in project/programme management in marine scientific research with national or international organizations. The successful consultant will be requested to (i) ensure the smooth implementation of the SSKI, (ii) monitor the delivery of outputs and reporting duties, (iii) play an active role in the delivery of parts of the initiative, and (iv) represent the project in discussion and coordination with partners.
