Madam Secretary-General welcomes the new Permanent Representative of Brazil to the ISA

Kingston, Jamaica (6 October 2026) – H.E. Mr. Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz presented his credentials as the new Permanent Representative of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the International Seabed Authority on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

Madam Secretary-General reflects on her recent mission to Brazil in May 2026

Brasília and Rio de Janeiro (4 – 8 May 2026) – “It was with a feeling of returning home and reconnecting with my roots that I travelled in early May to Brazil´s capital, Brasília, for a week filled with high-level meetings and faces new and familiar.
